Delighted to invite you to visit the exhibition 'MoreThan Your Eyes Can See" curated by Laila Abdul-Hadi Jadallah at The Middle East Institute Arts and Culture Center in Washington. My series ‘Before it’s gone’ is part of the exhibition. For those who happen to be in the area, the exhibition is open from June 3 to October 31.

‘More Than Your Eyes Can See’ is curated by @lailajadallah and organized in partnership with @tribephotomag.

The exhibition celebrates the work of 15 photographers from the Arab world and its diaspora who are defining the practice of photography in the Middle East and North Africa. These include @koz.collective and super talented photographers from MENA.

The Middle East Institute Arts and Culture Center cordially invites you to the opening of More Than Your Eyes Can See: Contemporary Photography from the Arab World, an exhibition celebrating the work of 15 photographers from the Arab world and its diaspora who are defining the practice of photography in the Middle East.

Employing photojournalism and fine art photography, their diverse work provides an intimate and dynamic lens through which to see the Arab world.Join our opening on Friday, June 3 from 6 pm - 8 pm and catch the art talk at 6:45pm with curator Laila Abdul-Hadi Jadallah and co-founder and photo editor of Tribe magazine Sueraya Shaheen.

The exhibition is organized in partnership with Tribe magazine, a non-profit publication focused on documenting photography, film and video from the Arab world. The show is also participating in Focus On the Story's 2022 International Photo Festival.

You can visit the exhibition by appointment as of Monday, June 6, 2022 (M-F from 10-5pm). Please make a timed appointment to visit the MEI Gallery (1763 N Street NW, Washington, DC 20036). The exhibition will also be available to view online on MEI's Arts and Culture page as of Monday, June 6 and will run through Friday, October 21st, 2022.
